POSITION OVERVIEW (Explain general purpose of position/what are the goals):
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the program or facility during his/her assigned shift. On evening, nights, holidays and weekend shifts, these duties will be expanded to include supervision of all staff.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List the functions that are essential to achieve the goals):
· Supervise House Managers working on same shift and custodial staff on evening, night, holiday and weekend shifts
· Conduct periodic tours of entire facility to ensure safety, security and cleanliness standards
· Receive and review incident reports and begin corrective measures as applicable
· Communicate effectively and appropriately with visitors and emergency responders
· Supervise safety and incident management system, including contracted security guards as applicable
· Supervisor delivery of program services, including intake, bed assignments and census data collection
· Attend staff meetings and trainings to enhance skills that are related to job function
· Must be able to work flexible, alternate schedules

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED (List all that is required to achieve this position):
· Associates Degree (preferred) with 1 year supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 2 years supervisory experience and 3 years experience working with population
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE (List what the desire to reach goals):
· Knowledge of women’s and mental health issues, addiction and homelessness. Bilingual a plus
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED (List the computer skills needed):
· Basic Computer Skills
