Mission & Goal
The Clinical Consultation Program (CCP) exists to inform and empower the decision making processes and case outcomes for families and children who are at risk from domestic violence, mental health challenges and substance abuse problems.
Description
CCP functions through a partnership between Palladia and the NYC Children's Services (ACS). CCP creates teams that provide clinical consultations to assess risk to the child, with the goal of improving case outcomes. Additionally, teams enhance child welfare training and facilitate referrals for follow-up services within the community. Three consultants, with expertise in the fields of domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health, comprise a team and are supervised by a coordinator. Teams work on site at the Division of Child Protection (DCP) Bronx field offices.
